🏠 Home Page Overview

The Teaching Machines Home Page is the central hub for delivering interactive lessons powered by your AI Teacher. Here, students and users can engage with the AI avatar, access course content, ask questions, and navigate through structured lessons — all in an intuitive and immersive interface.

🎓 Course Selection

On the home screen, users can view the list of courses made available by the organization or teacher.

  • Click on a course to start an interactive lesson.
  • The AI Teacher will begin teaching the selected course using slides, explanations, and the whiteboard.

🧑‍🏫 Live Teaching Experience

Once a course begins, the AI Teacher will:

  • Use the whiteboard to explain concepts.
  • Narrate each slide with audio (which can be controlled using the play button).
  • Respond to real-time student interactions.

💬 Chat Interaction

To ask questions or clarify doubts:

  • Use the chat interface to type your message to the teacher.
  • The AI will respond contextually, based on the current course, lesson, or slide.

You can also show or hide the chat panel anytime using the chevron icon next to the chat input.

🗣️ Voice Interaction

Prefer speaking instead of typing?

  • Click the microphone button to speak.
  • Your voice will be converted to text and sent to the teacher as a message.

You can also:

  • Right-click the mic button to enable Voice Activity Detection (VAD).
  • This lets you interact naturally without needing to press the mic each time.

✋ Raise Your Hand

Want to ask something without interrupting?

  • Click the Raise Hand icon.
  • The AI Teacher will pause, address you, and ask if you have a question.
  • You can then chat or speak your doubt for clarification.

📚 Course Content Navigation

Need to jump around?

  • Use the Course Content button above the whiteboard.
  • Instantly navigate to any course, lesson, or slide — at any time.

⏭ Slide Navigation

At the bottom right corner, use:

  • ⏮ Previous button – to go back to the previous slide or state.
  • ⏭ Next button – to move forward in the lesson flow.
  • ▶️ Play/Pause button – to control the teacher’s narration.
