🎨 Customization

The Customization page allows Super Admins and Organization Admins to personalize the Teaching Machines experience for users in a specific organization. All settings configured here apply to the organization’s custom domain and will be reflected in the user-facing interface.


🎨 Color Customization

  • SideNav Color: Set the color of the sidebar navigation.
  • Footer Color: Customize the appearance of the footer section.
  • Icons Color: Define the color of iconography throughout the application.

👁️ Visibility Settings

Control the visibility of key interface components:

  • Show Side Navigation: Toggle the visibility of the side menu.
  • Show Footer: Show or hide the footer section.
  • Show Classroom Entrance Scene: Enable or disable the 3D classroom entrance animation.

🖼️ Background Texture Settings

Upload image files to apply custom textures to your 3D environment:

  • 3D Model Background Texture: Upload an image for the classroom’s environment.
  • Whiteboard 3D Model Texture: Set the texture image for the whiteboard inside the classroom.

🎛️ Extras

  • Similarity Score: A number between 0 and 1 that controls FAQ matching sensitivity during FAQ-based lessons.

    For example, a similarity score of 0.8 means the student’s input must match an FAQ entry with at least 80% similarity for it to be used.

  • Organization Default Avatar: Choose the default 3D AI teacher avatar for all users in the organization.


🖼️ Logo Settings

Customize your organization’s branding:

  • Logo Image: Upload a logo file.
  • Logo Text: Specify the text label accompanying the logo.
  • Show Top Left Logo: Toggle whether to display the logo in the top-left corner of the UI.

🌈 Theme Colors

Light Theme

  • bg: Background color
  • text: Default text color
  • elevation: Shadow/elevation color
  • white: Bright color override

Dark Theme

  • bg: Background color
  • text: Default text color
  • elevation: Shadow/elevation color
  • black: Dark color override

The UI theme can be selected under Settings → Personalization by the user.


🧩 UX Elements Theme Colors

Fine-tune the theme colors of UI components (e.g. buttons, cards, forms):

Light Theme

  • primary – Hue, Saturation, Lightness
  • primaryForeground
  • background
  • foreground

Dark Theme

  • primary
  • primaryForeground
  • background
  • foreground

Use the HSL sliders to adjust the values to match your organization’s brand or design system.


⚙️ Operations

  • Switch to V2: Toggle to enable the next-gen AI API behavior (V2) for avatar flow and state transitions.
  • View Beta Home: Preview the beta version of the main home interface using the current org’s configuration.
